The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) is looking for its next Director, leading the extramural Division of Neuroscience. Among the many responsibilities not only will you will be guiding NIND’s largest research portfolio but charting the future of the growing neuroscience research community of which disorders related to sleep mechanisms is a key field among others.
The Director of the Division of Neuroscience will lead a group of approximately 60 professional staff. The research portfolio of the Division of Neuroscience includes an annual budget of over $1 billion dollars in grants and over $30 million in R&D contracts.
