Accountable for all sleep research recordings; monitor and track research studies to ensure quality control. Perform PSGs, Actigraphy, Holter Monitor, EKGs, Pulmonary Function Testing, and collecting other research participant data collection forms. Comfortable collecting and analyzing biological samples (saliva, urine, blood). Knowledge of Phlebotomy and ELISA assays preferred. Training is available. Maintain supplies for sleep laboratory as well as recording equipment to ensure it is in working order at all times for research studies. Assist with sleep research participant recruitment. Coordinate all aspects of sleep data management for assigned projects including: develop, implement, and review data collection forms; update and maintain databases; resolve problem data issues; track research participants, data collection forms, and other project materials; perform verification procedures. Assist in the development of project specific sleep data management documentation. Collaborate with project coordinators, statisticians, clinical investigators, clinical personnel, and other data management personnel to plan and implement sleep data management tasks for research projects. Work Hours: primarily works 3rd shift but requires some flexibility to cover 1st or 2nd shift when no overnight studies are scheduled. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred; Registered PolysomnographicTechnologist strongly preferred. Will consider training candidate with suitable experience; additional years experience preferred. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of re-funding for up to 5 years. To apply please go to:
