Description

Baylor University invites applications for two (2) full-time, post-baccalaureate research positions to assist on a new project funded by the National Science Foundation (link). This project will investigate the interplay of sleep, creativity, and STEM learning using polysomnography, actigraphy, and fMRI neuroimaging.

The full-time positions include full benefits and are available immediately.

The research coordinators will join Dr. Scullin’s Sleep Neuroscience and Cognition (SNAC) Laboratory (http://sites.baylor.edu/scullin), and will collaborate with the fMRI neuroimaging core at the Waco VISN 17 Center of Excellence. The applicants selected for the coordinator positions will join an energetic group of researchers who take a team science approach to investigating how sleep physiology affects cognitive mechanisms and educational outcomes.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, display sound judgment, and be dependable. Experience working in a research laboratory, particularly with sleep or neuroimaging procedures, is preferred but not required.

Inquiries about this position can be directed to Dr. Michael Scullin at [email protected]. Applicants should provide a CV or resume, cover letter, and contact information for at least two references at https://jobs.baylor.edu/postings/5491
