In March 2019, the SRS Advocacy Task Force, in partnership with the Health and Medicine Council of Washington and Project Sleep, advocated for support of sleep and circadian research, and sleep awareness from the House of Representatives. All three organizations worked together to achieve 31 signatures from U.S. House of Representatives members, for inclusion in the Department of Defense program, Enhancement of the NIH research portfolio, and Establishment of a $250,000 program at CDC.

Thank you to all of the U.S. Representatives that supported this letter!
