Administrative Policies

Current operating policies of the Sleep Research Society. Policies include use of Reserve Funds, Gift Solicitations, Trainee Workshop Funding and more. The Executive Committee will review and make changes to the SRS administration policies as needed.

Professional Policies

Current professional policies of the Sleep Research Society include the Faculty-Trainee Relationship Policy. The Executive Committee reviews this document annually; any changes are made at the committee's discretion.

Policies on the Use of Animals in Sleep

The Associated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS) endorses and supports the appropriate and responsible use of animals as experimental subjects. The policy outlines the responsibilities of the SRS involving decision about research by members and limitations for the use of animals in sleep research.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure Policy

This policy is in place to ensure for objectivity in the management of the Sleep Research Society. Members of the SRS Board of Directors and SRS Committees are required to disclose every professional relationship with commercial or private entities that impacts the financial or professional status of themselves of their family.

Conference Grant Support Program Policies

The SRS occassionally considers requests for conference support that furthers the society's mission and includes the SRS in the formulation of the conference.
