The APSS Program Committee met in August to begin preparations for SLEEP 2015 June 6-10, in Seattle, WA. Dr. Allan Pack joined the meeting and shared with the committee feedback and recommendations from the SRS membership and from the SRS Scientific Offerings working group chaired by Dr. Ron Szymusiak.

Sleep Apnea is a Growing Public Health Threat in the U.S.
At least 25 million adults in the U.S. have obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), reports the National Healthy Sleep Awareness Project. Sleep apnea afflicts an estimated 26 percent of adults between the ages of 30 and 70 years, a prevalence that has increased substantially over the last two decades.
