Jointly sponsored by the Center for Sleep and Circadian Neurobiology and the Epigenetics Center at the University of Pennsylvania, and supported by the National Institute on Aging and the Sleep Research Society, the organizers have assembled an outstanding group of scientists and leaders in their field to present at the conference. The program was designed to provide overviews in several areas of epigenetic research and sleep disorders and to stimulate discussions on how these areas could interact and complement each other. Dr. Paolo Sassone-Corsi, Director of the Center for Epigenetics and Metabolism at the University of California, Irvine, will give the keynote address on October 3rd.

The objectives of the conference include identifying research opportunities, strategies, and methodologies to further elucidate epigenetic mechanisms in sleep processes and recruiting outstanding young investigators into this area of research. Discounted conference fees are available for trainees.  The conference will be held at the Ace Conference Center, Lafayette Hills, PA (just outside Philadelphia).  For more information and to register, go to www.acesleepmeeting.org.
