During this full-day course, an expert faculty will present a detailed review of the sleep research of the pediatric population. The course will provide a framework for the AASM's "Diagnosing and Treating Sleep Disorders in the Pediatric Population" course. Presentations will focus on the basic science behind normal sleep and development from infancy to adulthood, various factors that impact sleep in childhood and an introduction to common pediatric sleep disorders. The "Toddlers, Tweens, and Teens: A Survey of Pediatric Sleep Research" course is an add-on to the AASM pediatrics course; individuals must be registered for the "Diagnosing and Treating Sleep Disorders in the Pediatric Population" course to participate in the SRS course.
The AASM and SRS pediatrics courses will be held October 26-28, 2012, at the national office in Darien, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Receive an advanced registration discount when you register by Sept. 28, 2012.
