Sleep Research Society Mission
The Sleep Research Society is a member organization of scientists that exists
to foster scientific investigation on all aspects of sleep and its disorders,
to promote training and education in sleep research, and to provide forums for
the exchange of knowledge pertaining to sleep.
Sleep Research Society Purpose and Goals
The Sleep Research Society, through its members and leadership, is organized
exclusively for scientific, educational, and charitable purposes
Administrative Policies
This document reflects the current operating policies of the SRS. Its contents
are reviewed as needed by the Executive Committee. Additions or changes in
administrative policies are made at the discretion of the Executive Committee

This document reflects the current professional policies of the SRS. Its
contents are reviewed annually by the Executive Committee. Additions or changes
in administrative policies are made at the discretion of the Executive
Committee

Policies on the Use of Animals in Sleep
The Sleep Research Society (SRS) and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine
(AASM), acting together as the Associated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS),
are professional societies for basic and clinical researchers and clinicians
interested in the mechanisms of sleep and its disorders.

All scientific and educational information must be approved by the Board of
Directors, Executive Committee, or its designee prior to posting on the
website.

The Sleep Research Society prefers/recommends groups seeking sponsorship make such requests in the formative stages of an event.
