Sleep Research Society Mission
The Sleep Research Society is a member organization of scientists that exists to foster scientific investigation on all aspects of sleep and its disorders, to promote training and education in sleep research, and to provide forums for the exchange of knowledge pertaining to sleep.

Administrative Policies

Policies on the Use of Animals in Sleep
The Sleep Research Society (SRS) and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), acting together as the Associated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS), are professional societies for basic and clinical researchers and clinicians interested in the mechanisms of sleep and its disorders.
