The Sleep Research Society will be sponsoring the 15th Annual Trainee Symposia Series on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in conjunction with SLEEP 2010 the 24th Annual APSS Meeting in San Antonio, TX.
The purpose of the Trainee Symposia Series is to foster scientific investigation, professional education and career development in sleep research and academic sleep medicine. Trainee Day offers young researchers and scientists an unparalleled opportunity to glean knowledge and experience from established and renowned professionals on current topics in the field of sleep and circadian research.
Immediately following the Trainee Symposia Series scientific program, the SRS will present a Trainee Reception and Career Development Fair. Here trainees will find representatives from top institutions ready and willing to spend time with them on an individual basis answering questions about training and career options in the field of sleep and circadian research. The reception also gives trainees an opportunity to network with each other and with senior investigators in a more informal atmosphere.
Registration for the Trainee Symposia Series is now open. Only Trainees who pre-register for the event will be able to attend. Registration for the Trainee Symposia Series closes on April 21, 2010. Please note that this event will take place on Saturday, June 5th, the day before the main scientific program begins.
