J. Christian Gillin, M.D. Research Grant
The SRSF J. Christian Gillin, M.D. Research Grant is intended to support
beginning investigators in sleep research for the purpose of
gathering pilot data to be used for future grant applications. Up to three,
one-year grants will be funded with each in the amount of up to $20,000.
Elliott D. Weitzman, M.D. Research Grant The
SRSF Elliott D. Weitzman, M.D. Research Grant is intended for researchers to
gather additional pilot data for NIH or other federal grants that are scored
but not funded (the SRS assumes that such grants have been reviewed by NIH).
Grants that will be considered are those that have a sound plan but were noted
for inadequate preliminary data or evidence of feasibility. Up to three,
one-year grants will be funded with each in the amount of up to $20,000.
Jazz Pharmaceuticals
Fellowship Training Grants in Sleep Medicine
Jazz Pharmaceuticals announces new funding opportunities to support research in
sleep medicine. We will fund four one-year grants of $50,000 each; to be
awarded by the Medical Affairs Department to trainee Fellows doing original
research in the area of sleep medicine.

The Sleep Research Society has a major commitment to fostering the development
of individuals who may pursue a career in sleep research. The pages in this
