The Sleep Research Society invites members to participate in a standing committee. Volunteer committee members provide an invaluable service to the organization and to members by contributing to initiatives and projects that are critical to the field of sleep research. Members also gain professional enrichment through the diverse activities of a committee.
Members of the Sleep Research Society can volunteer for one of the five SRS standing committees. Service on a committee is a three-year appointment, which is made in Spring. Members may be reappointed as a committee member for a maximum two three-year terms, unless appointed to a vice-chair or chair position. All committee terms begin in June at SLEEP, the Annual Meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies.
