SRS Board of Directors Elections to be Held March 5 - 17, 2010

The 2010 SRS Officer and Board of Directors elections will begin Friday, March 5, 2010. All voting members will receive a ballot via e-mail on March 5th and will have an opportunity to cast their vote for the next SRS President-Elect and one new member of the Board of Directors. Voting Members of each SRS Section will also have an opportunity to select a Section Head for the 2010-2011 program year.

Winter 2010 Issue of the SRS Bulletin Now Available

The Sleep Research Society is pleased to announce the Winter 2010 issue of the SRS Bulletin (Vol. 15, No. 3) is now available to our members. The SRS Bulletin transitioned to an electronic format in 2008 and is now available exclusively through the members-only portion of our website.

15th Annual Trainee Symposia Series to be Held Saturday, June 5, 2010

The The Sleep Research Society will be sponsoring the 15th Annual Trainee Symposia Series on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in conjunction with SLEEP 2010 the 24th Annual APSS Meeting in San Antonio, TX.

SRS Announces Vote on Proposed Bylaws Changes

The Board of Directors has recommended a number of changes to the SRS Bylaws. These proposed changes will more clearly define the existing membership categories and will allow members to join more than one Research Section. These changes are being recommended in response to input received from members at the annual SRS business meeting that was held in June during the APSS meeting, and also to more clearly reflect current operations of the society. All changes must be approved by a vote of the membership.
